Library

The blueprints and script templates people make things from, in one place, and how to copy them to another installation.

The Library in the Manager holds what people make things from: Blueprints (ready-made apps, virtual machines and shells) and Script templates (install scripts to start a machine’s script from). Each kind has its own section.

Each kind is kept by its own part of Velrix. The Library only shows them and sends your changes to the part they belong to. If a part is not answering, its section says Unavailable; the rest of the Library still works, and people can still use what it keeps.

Finding something

The search finds an item by its name, its id or its words in any language, across every section. Tag narrows to one tag. The buttons above the sections show one kind alone.

Changing an item

Choose an item to open it. Its page is the same one its part always draws: for a blueprint, where it is used, its form, and Feature, Hide, Retire and Remove; for a script template, its form, Hide and Remove. Library at the top takes you back.

New or New template in a section adds one. A blueprint’s section also has Subscriptions (catalogues from other realms), and a section with removed shipped items has Removed, to bring them back.

Copying to another installation

Export in a section saves that kind as one JSON file. Import on another installation, or later on this one, lays it over that kind. Nothing changes unless all of it is valid.

Sizes are not part of the Library: they are capacity, under Sizes in the Manager, and their prices are set in Billing.
